2 weeks and counting
With 2 weeks to go we are very excited to share the
Arrival of Aaralyn Megin Anderson with our Friends and Family
As well as we know you are excited to see her and visit us
Info we need to share:
1) We are scheduled for a C Section to bring our Baby Girl in to this world but on this day Heather will also be having another surgery so recovery will be a bit more extensive than usual since she will be having 2 surgeries at one time
2) The hospital is JFK Washington Township in Sewell NJ and we are set for 1pm on Nov 20th 2009 the hospital asked us to relay the following information
•They asked that no calls come in to Labor and Delivery requesting info they asked us to make calls to key people once we are settled in recovery.
•They are prohibiting any visitors under the age of 18 from 11/2/09 til the end of Flu season because children are more susceptible to the Flu/H1N1 as well as being carriers
•They suggested that we request ANY visitors both at the Hospital and at Home have the Seasonal Flu Shot no less than 7 days prior to visiting or the Flu Mist no less than 14 days prior to visiting
3) We ask that if visiting either the Hospital or Us at Home that if you have ANY of the following symptoms you please wait until 7-10 days after your symptoms have stopped prior to visiting:
•Fever ****It’s important to note that not everyone with flu will have a fever.
•Cough
•sore throat
•runny or stuffy nose
•body aches
•headache
•chills
•fatigue
*sometimes diarrhea and vomiting
4) When visiting us at Home we ask that each time upon entering the house you wash your hands thoroughly with Hot Soapy Water as we are going to do our best to prevent the flu virus or other bacteria from surfacing in our home during the 90 days or so it takes for an infant’s immune system to become mature
