At a time when young people are so often exposed to brainwashing (like this photo),?violence (when all you see is guns), poverty and negativity,?artists perform an essential function in helping them find beauty and inspiration, connections to themselves, to the past and to other cultures.
Our works of art show the best of what it means to be human and the art-making process draws on everyone?s creativity building both confidence and skill.
In short, imagry bombardment makes an essential contribution to art awareness even subconsciously - in particular with greatest impact for children with creative and hungry minds. . . But it cannot function in a vacuum?and is essential to creating citizens who can fully appreciate and partake of some of humanity’s greatest achievements.
