The USS New York was built with 24 tons of scrap steel from the World Trade Center It is the fifth in a new class of warship - designed for missions that include special operations against terrorists. It will carry a crew of 360 sailors and 700 combat-ready Marines to be delivered ashore by helicopters and assault craft.

Junior Chavers, foundry operations manager, said that when the trade center steel first arrived, he touched it with his hand and the ‘hair on my neck stood up.’ ‘It had a big meaning to it for all of us,’ he said. ‘They knocked us down. They can’t keep us down. We’re going to be back.’ 

The ship’s motto? ‘Never Forget’ HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN?? When deciding who you will VOTE for this year for President keep in mind we need someone who will not Flip Flop on a day when the country may need him the most!!

Apparently this is just one of another Long Standing American Freedoms that the Obama Campaign is neglecting.

As most of you know I have been doing some serious Blogging and investigating on Candidate Obama and have been less than happy with the information I have been finding from Multi-Levels of Mass Media.

Today, I opted to register online on his Official Website to Blog and find out from his supporters exactly why they were supporting him and if any of them could explain the Flip-Flop Campaign he is running or the controversy that follows him everywhere.

The only thing I found out is:

1) Obama supporters are Rude!!

2) Any comment made against Obama in any form or manner even in regards to his Policies is considered Racist

3) Most of the Bloggers on his site are ill-educated

4) Obama’s Campaign does not exercise the freedom of Expression unless it is in direct support of Obama

5) Apparently deem themselves ‘the state to demonstrate limitation of this freedom’ by Censoring me and locking me out of the site!!

For those of you who may need it here is the definition of Freedom of Expression (Freedom of Speech) :
Freedom of speech is being able to speak freely without censorship.

The synonymous term freedom of expression is sometimes preferred, since the right is not confined to verbal speech but is understood to protect any act of seeking, receiving and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used.

For instance, the United States First Amendment theoretically grants absolute freedom, placing the burden upon the state to demonstrate when (if) a limitation of this freedom is necessary. In almost all liberal democracies, it is generally recognized that restrictions should be the exception and free expression the rule!

Why we need FREEDOM of EXPRESSION:

1. Free speech promotes “The free flow of ideas essential to political democracy and democratic institutions” and limits the ability of the state to subvert other rights and freedoms
2. It promotes a marketplace of ideas, which includes, but is not limited to, the search for truth
3. It is intrinsically valuable as part of the self-actualization of speakers and listeners
4. It is justified by the dangers for good government of allowing its suppression

I ask you if Obama cannot uphold our Amendments and Freedoms now what makes anyone think he can do it IF he were to become President??

That brings me to more Obama misquotes and crossing the legal boundaries set forth by Our Constitution and Amendments. Obama has cited in asking which Biblical passages should guide public policy* - chapters like Leviticus, which Obama said suggests slavery is OK and eating shellfish is an abomination, or Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, “a passage that is so radical that it’s doubtful that our own Defense Department would survive its application.” “Folks haven’t been reading their Bibles,” Obama said.

Joshua DuBois, director of religious affairs for Obama’s campaign, said “Obama is proud to have the support of millions of Americans of faith and looks forward to working across religious lines to bring our country together*.”
(*This is against the First amendment is it not??)

Lastly this was Obamas answer to Partial Birth Abortion legislation:

Obama is saying is that “I can’t seek to pass legislation that bans partial birth abortion because there are people who don’t see that as a moral issue.”

(d) Whoever, except as directed by the United States House of Representatives, or the Clerk of the House of Representatives on its behalf, knowingly uses, manufactures, reproduces, sells or purchases for resale, either separately or appended to any article manufactured or sold, any likeness of the seal of the United States House of Representatives, or any substantial part thereof, except for manufacture or sale of the article for the official use of the Government of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.

(f) A violation of the provisions of this section may be enjoined at the suit of the Attorney General, (1) in the case of the great seal of the United States and the seals of the President and Vice President, upon complaint by any authorized representative of any department or agency of the United States; (2) in the case of the seal of the United States Senate, upon complaint by the Secretary of the Senate; (3) in the case of the seal of the United States House of Representatives, upon complaint by the Clerk of the House of Representatives; and (4) in the case of the seal of the United States Congress, upon complaint by the Secretary of the Senate and the Clerk of the House of Representatives, acting jointly.

EFFECTIVE DATE OF 1971 AMENDMENT

Section 3 of Pub. L. 91-651 provided that: The amendments made by this Act [amending this section] shall not make unlawful any preexisting use of the design of the great seal of the United States or of the seals of the President or Vice President of the United States that was lawful on the date of enactment of this Act [Jan. 5, 1971], until one year after the date of such enactment.”

I guess the Obama campaign doesn’t care that there is a federal law against using any image of the likeness of the Presidential seal 18USC713. Even though The Fourth Amendment states:

… and although I personally feel the patriot act is a bit intrusive on my rights, Im glad to share VERY personal info if approached if that level of personal/emotional exposure leads potentially to exposing someone else’s potential exploit of all our safety…

I would be glad to always sacrifice to be submitted to interrogation for our safety and wish everyone felt that way… because if you arent I think youre hiding something afterall… just like i am afraid the guy in this story still may be… somewhere his intentions are not inline with that of his greater community and country . . .

Flags of our Fathers is a real awakening for the slight docu-drama disappointment the movie Pearl Harbor was for me… This movie was a good shot in the arm for me when I try to imagine those dark days of war my GrandFather talks about… He was there on “D Day” … This story really captures the horrific tale of Iwo Jima. Although my GrandFather is completely blind he sure can vividly tell me in colors scents and sounds what he lived !
Clint Eastwood’s take on the concept of a hero at the end of this production is so true…

A Home of the Brave is a great movie about the introspection into the minds of those brave souls who have served.When I was in Texas I was surprised how little we help our veterans more than we do. I had a close friend tell me sad stories about a vet hospital there and how he was told to turn veterans down and/or away for proper treatments and such… God only knows what they have went through for us… I am grateful to all who have served and sacrificed.
