Just wanted to send special thanks to:

Virtua Hospital in Voorhees & Tiffany their Volunteer Services Coordinator

as well as

JFK Hospital Washington Township & Athea their Patient Services Supervisor

for allowing my Mom, my husband and I to come in to their Pediatric Units during the Holidays to pass out Beanie babies, Coloring Books and Crayons to the sick children spending time in the hospital over the Holidays.

It truly melted our hearts to see the children’s faces light up when they realized why we were in their rooms.  Even the children and babies in isolation were given toys from us but we were not allowed to visit with those children for good reason.

If you ever wonder what the Joy of Giving is like give it a try just once and you too will be addicted as my Family is…

Hospitals, Homeless Shelters, Soup Kitchens, Food Banks, Elder Organizations and Pet Shelters are ALWAYS in need of Volunteers even if just for a day.

Then again you could do something as simple as taking a meal/soup or milk/bread to a Sick Relative/Friend, send them a gift card to a Pharmacy or Supermarket/ $5-20 in a card or Volunteer to take their trash out once a week or sit with them for a few hours so the Primary Caretaker can run an errand or get some out of the house time for themselves.

Remember a few minutes or hours of your time will stay with someone a lifetime and may make a difference in both of your lives even if its with just a smile!

We are busy sifting thru the hundreds of pics we took over the 3 days of Family and friends this Christmas.

Under the Health circumstances of my Family it was very enjoyable overall !!

The Pad on the left is Aarons from me it allows him to draw and have the image appear on his computer it is sooo cool.  Then I got him the mini entertainment unit it plays 32 hours of music, videos, pictures and much more!!

My new PRADA bag from my parents along with lots of other goodies like gift cards to my Favorite places to shop and eat. Clothes goodies for the house and much more…

The Leather Jacket my hubby bought me…

And…..My 2 SURPRISE Gifts!!

We are soooo excited.  This is our absolute Favorite Holiday!!  So much so that the whole family has to get dressed up.  The boys tried their costumes on today and didnt seem to mind them that much this year.

Stryper is a Vampire this year, who says they cant be in the sunlight !!

Frost Sinatra is a Witch this year and actually put a spell on me to take it off…

Anyway just wanted to say that we are all ready for an entire week of Haunting and Magic

My mom & I took my nephew (Aaron sits with my dad so we can go have fun)to go see the 1st Annual NJHurl.com Punkin Chunkin Competition.  We got there just after the qualifying round and had to wait until 2pm for the Competition so we opted to go to the other side of the Farm and do the Corn Maze & have lunch before the Punkin Chunkin.

Well little did I know how HUGE this corn maze was.  We walked around it for over an hour finding the various things throughout and checking it off on our list but the one thing we couldn’t find was the EXIT……

We called my mom, on her cell, who was outside of the maze and my nephew said to her “Mom Mom go to the Exit and yell my name so I could find my way out” so my mom like a good Mom Mom went in the exit and stood there hollering his name.  We heard her and started off in that direction.  Well we found our way to her to where we could talk to her without yelling but we couldn’t find our way to her we kept getting to dead ends.  Finally we found our way to the entrance went out the entrance and in the Exit to then go find Mom Mom.

After all this we then went to the Movies to see Chihuahua which was really cute but not what we thought it would be.  Then Subway for Dinner, back to Mom Mom’s and then out the door again.

Sunday it was all about closing/cleaning the pool, shed, gardens etc…..

I think I am the only person in NJ who was actually in a pool yesterday !!
Although I was happy to get a jump on my Hawaiian Tanning…..

Soon we will have 8 days of sun and surf…….Ahhhhhh
