George Michael ***UPDATE***

Monday, July 28th, 2008

We were able to give the Painting to George Michael !!!

We are truly grateful to ALL the people who made that happen. Although we did not manage to meet him we were told by his Tour Manager that he checked with George, who doesn’t normally except gifts at shows, and George Michael said he would ‘accept it personally’.

We do hope that George Michael enjoys the painting or is able to use it for his
Goss-Michael Foundation

George Michael put on such a Great show!! He looks and sounds amazing in person !!
Here is an assortment of Photos Aaron and I took from the concert !

We were 5 rows from the stage!!

The pictures say it all……It was an evening full of dancing, laughing and all over Joy!!

12 years go by …

and you listen to albums that over that span of time help shape and mold how you see the world…

All that emotion culminated into an awesome moment for me last sat night when I got to meet Geoff Tate !

picture of Geoff & I backstage after the concert !

I rocked out at the Queensryche show in Atlantic City !

They played Empire, JetCity Woman, and some from PromisedLand on piano!

I am finishing a painting I did of Geoff and will post soon !

Music is the ultimate common language between us all.
Harmony, represents an essential universal goal that is challenged by racial, religious and cultural prejudices.

A Mighty Heart

Sunday, November 4th, 2007

Music is most powerful when it reaches out and grabs the heart. It is wild how music from the band just yesterday I discovered for myself was also used in this touching movie that I watched tonight.
Nouvelle Vague also recorded “In a manner of speaking” which was a touching piece used in “A Mighty Heart” directed by Michael Winterbottom.

My wife’s and my hearts go out to Mariane and Adam Pearl — wife and son to Daniel Pearl the Wall Street Journal Reporter who was murdered by Terrorist extremists in Karachi, Pakistan. We all can learn more from the Daniel Pearl Foundation which promotes cross-cultural understanding through journalism and music.
