Plan B after Plan B

Jennifer said about Echo Films ::.

” We’re drawn to stories about people finding their voice and finding their way because they help us as listeners and viewers do what we feel we’re all trying to do, which is making sense of our lives through the stories of others,” Aniston said. “That’s why we chose the name Echo, to echo back an idea, a challenge, something that resonates through all of us. “

and so I bought echo-films.com

Next time you are in Manhattan and a CloverField Monster attacks, it’s a handy thing to know exactly in real time where your friends are so you know where to rescue them… or should I say so they know where to get you!

Loopt is an awesome stakling widget that sends you updates on where your friends are in real time !

Then once you know where they are take the subways with hopstop !

Flags of our Fathers

Friday, January 4th, 2008

(no spoiler)

Flags of our Fathers is a real awakening for the slight docu-drama disappointment the movie Pearl Harbor was for me… This movie was a good shot in the arm for me when I try to imagine those dark days of war my GrandFather talks about… He was there on “D Day” … This story really captures the horrific tale of Iwo Jima. Although my GrandFather is completely blind he sure can vividly tell me in colors scents and sounds what he lived !
Clint Eastwood’s take on the concept of a hero at the end of this production is so true…

KillWithMe.com

Monday, December 31st, 2007

91% of over 12,000 visitors said YES, they would click through and see this website.

I must say this profile is a “KILLER” Programmer, that is if he or SHE existed !

Boy what a hell of a spin if the murder was a girl !

I know four awesome programmers who are women . . .

I AM afraid that this movie will spawn a REAL Killer… unfortunately in thinking about it, I can conceive how to… and with spoofing mirrors at that…

Live Free Hack Hard

Saturday, December 22nd, 2007

So my wife and I were carelessly watching the new latest die hard movie when a hacker transfered his compiled code to an ip address that flashed on the screen.

Of course having my own DVR, I frame-by-framed back to it 202.218.154.52
so i went to http://www.ip-adress.com/whois/ and looked it up…
I was really surprised to see that it was a bank ! how authentic was that !

lol

next, the hackers ip was 172.16.55.103 and they said they were in Camden, but he must had been spoofin’ it… cause it was a Japanese site.

A Home of the Brave

Sunday, November 4th, 2007

A Home of the Brave is a great movie about the introspection into the minds of those brave souls who have served. When I was in Texas I was surprised how little we help our veterans more than we do. I had a close friend tell me sad stories about a vet hospital there and how he was told to turn veterans down and/or away for proper treatments and such… God only knows what they have went through for us… I am grateful to all who have served and sacrificed.

A Mighty Heart

Sunday, November 4th, 2007

Music is most powerful when it reaches out and grabs the heart. It is wild how music from the band just yesterday I discovered for myself was also used in this touching movie that I watched tonight.
Nouvelle Vague also recorded “In a manner of speaking” which was a touching piece used in “A Mighty Heart” directed by Michael Winterbottom.

My wife’s and my hearts go out to Mariane and Adam Pearl — wife and son to Daniel Pearl the Wall Street Journal Reporter who was murdered by Terrorist extremists in Karachi, Pakistan. We all can learn more from the Daniel Pearl Foundation which promotes cross-cultural understanding through journalism and music.

The Haunting

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

This old movie was nostalgic — a great cult treat to watch this hallow’s eve…

It actually has some cool cinematography. The sepia tint to the film is also a great touch.
There was also some clever narration too.

I liked this quote watching it — it stuck with me…
“I will not look back because then they will know what I am thinking” — Eleanor
