Learning Catalyst
In my 10+ years exploring accelerated self-learning avenues to obtain a working knowledge of new technology concepts I have found that the evolutioin of the e-student has shown us how education can soar through the ambitionus embracing of technologies… Moreover, I know I have myself become captivated with the hunger and quest for knowledge.
If it was the educator’s dream to make learning not just tolerable, but enthralling, utterly engrossing, and accessible to all, then we are finally succeeding!
The curious thing is that e-leraning T&L platforms are not succeeding because educators are giving student bodies better technology toys to play with, but because technology - both academic-use and commercial mainstream - have all evolved to such a level that it is finally able to deliver learners what teachers have struggled to convey and enlighten opportunities for retention. (with wuch limited means for so many eons)
My primary observation is : the ability and desire to explore the world that exists around and beyond the learner.
Today with most Web 2.0 technologies, learners truly have the world at thier fingertips !
